Free online image editing/ creating tools
These days I never use Photoshop.
For webdesign and image editing purposes, I use several online applications.
Primarily I use Aviary tools. It provides variety of products like, Image editor, Vector editor, Effects editor etc.
Other vise I use Sumopaint. You can use Pixlr for simple picture edits and add some cool effects for your images.
Previously I use picnik. But they are closing.
If you are working on a heavy resolution file, then you can use Gimp, Inkscape kind of opensource softwares.

Where you back up your digital data?
3 years back, I’ve backed up all my data in my external hard disk. Unfortunately all data vanished one day. My system has shut down by error, that time this hard disk connected with the computer. I don’t know, what the reason was. I returned to the shop, they offered one year warranty. But, They cannot retrieve my data, they replaced the hard disk, not the data.
After that incident, I seriously think about online back up services.
I tried numerous services. I found some services are good at some area, and they are week in some points.
Here is my preferences:
Google docs. This is a very good choice, if you are considering money seriously. See their plans.
Dropbox. It’s little expensive. But it’s the cool service that never make me sad. It provides 2 GB free storage.
Sugarsync. It has lot more options and it provides you 5 GB free storage. There pricing plans are cheaper when compared to Dropbox. From my experiance, It’s slower than Dropbox.
And, insync is useful for using Google docs like Dropbox.
I’m using above three services. I’m happy now.
Have a nice day.

Book marking options: How you choose one from crowd?
Yea, I've used so many book marking applications like, Google bookmarks, delicious, mozilla/ chrome bookmarks and sync with all computers with xmarks.
Google bookmarks going to discontinue it's listing option. And, I have one experience, when I import all google bookmarks into delicious, it comes in a single folder. Then I try to delete all bookmarks, there is no option in delicious to delete all bookmarks by label or folder. You have to delete manually by selecting 10-30 bookmarks per page. So I search for a different solution.
These days, I'm happy with dropbox's services. So I decided to make a bookmarking solution with dropbox. I created a folder named '+bookmarks' ( So that it'll be the first folder that can be access easily) Then created as much as categories as folders, then simply drag my mozilla imported bookmarks into particular folders.
For a new bookmark, I just drag the url into desired folder. It's very simple, totally controllable, easy to manage with all my computers, mobile phone and other devices.
What is your comment?

How I manage my time and project?
At last, I found a workable solution!
Initially I tested a bunch of softwares and applications on internet, iphone and desktop.
I found some difficulty in these areas:
Initially I tested a bunch of softwares and applications on internet, iphone and desktop.
I found some difficulty in these areas:
- Every time, open a website and taking notes is not easy
- A little laziness, we always postpone things that's not very simple to operate
- Without internet connection, it's hard to maintain to add tasks and notes
What I am doing now, is :
Add Label/ Tag/ Categories in to Google sites
There is no option adding tags in Google sites. But, there is one alternative way to do it.
Add tag like text along with post.
Format with small letter.
Then add labels name manually.
Link them like this:
http://YOURSITE.COM/system/app/pages/search?q= LABEL&scope=search-site
(replace LABEL with your label name)
I did and it was successful.

Image map in Google sites
Look at the site: https://sites.google.com/site/artistds9n/
What’s the specialty in it? It is made using ‘image map’ technique.
You can take your Google site website into greater level using “Image map”.

That’s very easy.
Here is the steps:
- go to the website, http://www.image-maps.com
- upload the image in above website
- define your links
- copy the HTML code
- paste the code in to Google site HTML column
- upload the same image to your picasaweb album/ photobucket.
- copy the image url
- replace the image name into copied picasaweb album/ photobucket url
- save
That’s all.
